Tokyo Skytree’s glass floor at Tembo Galleria. It’s better to avail the combo ticket worth 3,500 Yen for adults (see photo for complete price list, subject to change without prior notice) so you’ll be able to experience walking on the glass floor at the Tembo Galleria which is 450 meters high. Regular ticket will get you to the Tembo deck which is 350 meters high. You can also rent binoculars at the Tembo deck. If you need snacks or coffee, there’s also a cafe at the Tembo deck. I must say that Tokyo Skytree is a must visit tourist destination in Tokyo being one of the tallest towers in the world.

Tokyo Skytree is just in front of Tokyo Skytree Oshiage station via Tobu Skytree line.

Rickshaw ride - In Japan, a man pulling a carriage is known as a rickshaw puller, operating a jinrikisha (人力車), which is a two-wheeled, human-powered vehicle for carrying passengers. These were once a common mode of transportation but are now primarily used for tourist experiences in certain areas like Asakusa, Kamakura, and Kyoto. This is just few meters from Asakusa Station and also walking distance from Senso-ji Temple. So just visiting Asakusa Station, you will be able to experience rickshaw ride, Senso-ji temple, Nakamise Street then you can go to Tokyo Skytree next which is only 2 stops away from Asakusa Station via Asakusa line.

Local Japanese delicacy at Fujiyama Cookie. Take the red bus line from Kawaguchiko station and drop by bus stop # 9. And just few steps away, you’ll find the panoramic rope-way cable car ride. There is also convenience store, souvenir shops and local Japanese restaurants. Then just go across the street to go to the docking station of Lake Kawaguchiko 20-minute boat ride. Hope this helps to fill your itinerary. After that, you can take the red bus line again and go to the next nearby tourist spot around the area.

Soaring: Fantastic Flight, a must try Disney Sea ride. The video is only an introduction before entering the room where the rides are. If you are afraid of heights, this could be a challenging ride for you. Well, I just shut my other eye when the visual becomes terrifying that you’ll find yorself soaring high on top of Mount Everest. What an amazing experience! That’s all for the spoiler!

Convenience store or konbini - Convenience store is very popular in Japan. You’ll find Lawson, 7-11, family mart, Mini Stop and Daily Yamazaki. We stayed in the hotel located in Shinjuku and it was very convenient because you just need to go to the ground floor to visit Family Mart and Lawson. We usually buy our breakfast or dinner from konbinis since we are not allowed to cook in the hotel and you really have to go out and visit the restaurant which is a bit far sometimes and they are only open during specific time of the day. So better to book your accommodation with konbinis and supermarkets nearby to save some money. Of course, you must try dining in at local Japanese restaurants for the authentic Japanese food experience.
