-🇯🇵📷 Hachiman zaka slope 📷🇯🇵-
Hakodate city is located in the southern part of Hokkaido.
This Hill is famous view spot there!
The city has many amazing view spot as well, I’ll tell you about it in next posts☺️🤳
I love this slope, because in EVERY season and EVERY time (midday, night), it shows different faces to us.
Summer is great, but also Winter is beautiful in a different way🤍
There are 19 slopes like this.
So it’s not like THE photo spot, just public roads. We can feel the local lives there.

◆Histry of Hakodate◆
Japan had been a closed country during the Edo era for about 200 years.
During that time, Japan developed its unique cultures only within Japanese people, like Sumo, Ukiyoe, Kabuki, Japanese styled fire works, Bath culture etc…
After American Admiral Perry came to Japan with four black battleships and negotiated to open our country in 1852, Japan gradually loosen its isolation to the world.
One of the ports the government opened first was Hakodate.
So there are several churches or western styled architectures in the city.

-🇯🇵🍱 Bento 🍱🇯🇵-
I really love this Bento (lunch box) culture in Japan.
One of the best bento for me is “Fried rice bento/チャーハン弁当” by “Kiyoken/崎陽軒”.
It costs only 690 yen.
Amazing😋!!
Kiyoken is famous for Shumai, a steamed meat dumpling. (Fouth pic)
They offer various kinds of bento at station, known as Ekiben. (Lunch box which we buy at station and eat on mainly a bullet train).
Best known one is fifth pic, shumai bento.
But I recommend Fried rice one🥰
Ekiben is assumed to eat at room temperature or colder, because we can’t use microwave on trains.
When rice gets cold, it will become a little difficult to eat to tell the truth.
But Kiyoken improves their rice suitable when it gets cold😳
You can find Kiyoken store at big station around Kanto area and also the deli store at department store.
