26 in April 2026! Twenty six pilgrims made it to all 88 temples and closed the loop in April. Spring brings so many of you to Shikoku, and it’s been a real pleasure to meet all of you and hear about your trip. Looking forward to meeting more of you in May!

Feel free to visit our Center for maps, bus schedules, route advice, and assistance with lodging reservations for the Tokushima area (and tourist information, of course). Stop by again when you complete your journey for this unofficial certificate and information on how to get to Osaka, Kansai Airport, Mt. Koya, and beyond.
“Ohenro First Steps” English Orientation is available most days until the end of May (reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are possible), and by advance reservation only throughout the summer. Check out our other post for information and reservation info.
**Some pilgrims didn’t want their photos posted on social media. That’s totally fine… tell us when we take your photo and we can send it to you privately by e-mail or other means.
