徳島は梅雨入りしました。
雨の中を歩いて出勤するのは少し大変ですが、私は雨が好きです。
どんよりとした涼しい曇り空は、日差しがとても強い日に比べてリフレッシュできます。
また、この時季に咲くアジサイも楽しみの一つです。
青、紫、ピンクといったさまざまな色が混ざり合っている花はとてもきれいです。
日本の四季を彩る花々の中でも、私にとってアジサイは、桜と並ぶお気に入りです。
私のおすすめのアジサイスポットは、徳島県鳴門市にある潮明寺です。
「あじさい寺」として知られるほどのアジサイの名所です。
投稿写真は2年前のものです。
訪れたときはあいにくの雨でしたが、アジサイの最高の背景となっていました。
特にお気に入りだったのは、青と紫が混ざり合ったような色や、白地にほんのり青みがかったアジサイです。
御朱印ファンとして、もちろんお寺で御朱印もいただいてきました。
これからアジサイの見ごろを迎えます。

The rainy season has begun here in Tokushima. While walking to work in the rain can be a bit of a hassle, I actually quite like it. The cool, overcast skies offer a refreshing change of pace compared to those days with intense, scorching sunlight.
Another thing I look forward to during this season is the blooming hydrangeas. The flowers, with their beautiful blend of various colors like blue, purple, and pink, are absolutely stunning. Among all the flowers that color Japan’s four distinct seasons, hydrangeas are my absolute favorite, right alongside cherry blossoms.
My personal recommendation for a hydrangea-viewing spot is Chomeiji Temple in Naruto City. It is so famous for them that it's widely known as the "Hydrangea Temple." The photo I posted is actually from two years ago. Unfortunately, it was raining when I visited, but it actually ended up providing the perfect backdrop for the flowers. I was especially drawn to the ones with a mixture of blue and purple, as well as the white petals with just a subtle hint of blue. As a fan of goshuin (temple stamps), I made sure to collect one during my visit, too.
The hydrangeas will be reaching their peak bloom soon. I hope you all get a chance to enjoy these beautiful flowers during the rainy season!
