今回は少し横浜の歴史を紹介します🤓

🇯🇵横浜発祥の数々🇯🇵
①カレー🍛
今やカレーは日本の国民食✨そのルーツは横浜開港当時（1859年）に遡ります。開港によって開設された外国人居住地は、いわば日本の小さな外国。チョンマゲライフの日本人にとってここで見・聞き・味わうものすべてが舶来上等珍無類のおどろきでした😳マッチ、ビール、ランプなどと共に香り高い黄金色のカレーは文明開化の魁として日本の津々浦々へ広がりました🗾それから百有余年「横濱カレー」は、香りと味の伝承文化を今に伝えます。

②ビール🍺
日本で最初のビール醸造所「ジャパン・ヨコハマ・ブリュワリー」が1869年に横浜市の外国人居留地で設立。
現在、伝統的製法でこだわりの「横浜ビール」が日々作られています🤵

③石鹸工場🧼
1873年（明治6年）横浜の堤磯右衛門が洗濯石鹸の製造に成功し、日本で最初の石鹸工場が横浜に誕生🏭
その後復刻され、「磯右ヱ門SAVON」は現在も販売されている✨

日本初、横浜発祥（諸説あり）のものは他にもたくさんありますが、今回はこの辺りで😁

What is Sakura(cherry blossoms) for Japanese🌸🌸🌸?

What do you associate the season of meetings and partings for you?
For Japanese, it will be between late March and beginning of April✨

Many of people move such as transfers or enrollment during the season.
Japanese has unique customs and systems😳 entrance ceremony of kindergartens, schools, companies etc. The freshers all attend the events and they are welcomed by their seniors or new teachers🎉

Likewise, romance in Japan tend to start from Apri🎀
Many singles gradually start looking for their better halves as they focus on fulfillment of their private lives🧸🧸
Also the economy in Japan tend to be activate📈

So Japanese often relate cherry blossoms to meetings or something new🌅
That makes cherry blossoms special to us.
When we go see them (Hanami), a lot of speechless emotions happening inside of our soul🥺 Hope you gain deeper understanding of Japanese culture and mind🤞🤞🤞

Yokohama local sweets introductions No.2🎂🍫🍪🍩
[Wishbon＆Yokohama Brick Steet]
Today we will introduce another interesting local company here in Yokohama named Wishbon✨
It was born in 1981 as a sidewalk cafe and started making sweets🥧☕️
At that time in Yokohama, many restaurants continuously opened however, the owner of Wishbon noticed that there were few restaurants that provide great sweets yet🤦🏻‍♂️
In 1980s, it was era of economic upturns in Japan and many families started to eat out regularly.
He thought if he could provide wonderful sweets after their meal time, he could make them much happier🤩🤩🤩
So the name of his company became Wishbon(wish&bon, means good in French).
Throughout providing sweets, Wishbon keeps growing and it became to expand many popular sweets in Japan 🇯🇵
They’ve produced “Yokohama Brick Steet” which is one of the most popular souvenirs in Yokohama.(caramel taste & chocolate taste )
You must try them and share your family and friends, please😎✨✨

Yokohama local sweets introductions No.1🎂🍫🍪🍩
[Mutekiro and Yokohama Renga]
Today we will introduce one of the most historical and interesting company that provides Japanese style French cuisine and sweets in our local area named Mutekiro. Mutekiro was born in 1981 in Motomachi,Yokohama.
Since they opened the port about 150 years ago,🛳🚢Yokohama has been a port town prospering as the gate of western culture
The restaurant of Mutekiro reflects the exotic perspective of culture between Japan and western countries those days.
The food which they provide is not traditional French cuisine🇫🇷 nor Japanese cuisine🇯🇵
They cherish blended culture and created their concept, Wakonyosai,that means French cuisine which people can have with Japanese soul😤
They still exist with history in Yokohama and loved by many local fans.

Here we have one of their products named Yokohama Renga.
Renga means brick in Japanese and they created chocolate cake which look like brick originally from Motomachi Yokohama.
They combine walnut sauce with their chocolate cake and add some apple paste and brandy.
This cake extremely fits for coffee☕️☕️☕️
Yokohama Renga is one of the most popular souvenir products from Yokohama.
