Friday is a Labour Day and we're heading to Iten to hike up to Torok Waterfalls....

The rainy season in Kakamega Forest is tough but deeply rewarding. Muddy trails and sudden downpours are part of the experience—today included. It rained hard while we were deep in the forest, but we embraced it and continued our walk until the sun returned. 🌿

Kakamega Rainforest came calling last Saturday, it was nice being back in the forest during the rainy season. The muddy trails and rain gave us the real feeling of the nature of a rainforest.
