I am my own today for pulling off this amazing pose at 6.5 months 🤰🏾🤰🏾. I am and this is the Africa they don't show enough.

I was inspired to do this pose by .mathenjwa1 and I knew I had to do it in Kipungani Island in Lamu 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪 one of the best kept secrets of Africa.

Hello everyone, hope you are well and starting the new week on a high. It's a warm Monday morning where I am so I am happy 😊.

I know I have been too quiet but let's just say June was ALOT then some but it turned out well so I am excited to be back.

Where I would recommend for everyone to travel once on their life mmmmmhhhhhhhh so many places but being more of a beach lover I highly recommend Lamu Island in Kenya 🇰🇪.

Travel Tip Thursday

21st Thursday of 2021

Hey everyone, I am good and enjoying the current weather in Kenya 🇰🇪. I hope everyone is well and I am excited to welcome as our guest contributor for .

and I are actually Instagram friends who met around Mid-march this year and I really don't remember how I stumbled on her feed but just go to her page, follow and enjoy all her amazing content.

We will be hosting the September Lamu trip with her so you know it's going to be 🔥🔥.

Today her Pro-Tips will be on International Travel During this Covid-19 period.

⚡Research – I use Instagram hashtags which lead me to amazing bloggers and posts plus my networks i.e. people who have been to the place I plan to travel to.
⚡Itinerary – This is key in ensuring you have a better understanding of the costs involved. For Zanzibar I noted that it’s big island and one requires to drive long distances and thus travel consultants really come in handy to co-ordinate all the logistics and they can help you save some coins.
⚡Be Culturally Relevant – It’s important to know the Do’s and Don’ts of the country you plan to visit. I went to Zanzibar during The Ramadhan period and this guided my packing i.e. the clothes I would be wearing and the awareness that some places would require me to cover-up more even though I was in a beach destination.
⚡Be clear on the Experience you want and thus make an informed decision regarding this. Will the trip be a budget trip or a luxury trip? At this point an individual’s budget is key as some decisions are easier once you know how much you are willing to spend.
⚡Have cash at hand – I did my research and confirmed that I could pay everything in cash while in Zanzibar so I ensured I had all the money I needed in dollars and paid everything in cash. Always have some actual cash with you incase your card refuses to work. Dollars are largely accepted around the globe and it’s easier to exchange dollars into most local currencies.
⚡Enjoy the trip even when things don’t go as per the plan. When hitches happen learn to take a deep breath and trust the magic of the process.
