TEA TOUR UPDATE, 12 JULY 2023: Welcome to the Karai Tea Estate Experience. We are located on the very front of Riara Ridge in Tigoni's tea zone, just 40 kms north of Nairobi's CBD. Our vision is enriching the wellbeing of those we touch. We host guided tea estate 3-4 hour tours including farmhouse lunch on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Tours need to be pre-booked at least 48 hours with M-PESA payments to 0705 809156. The daily tour begins at 11am sharp. We meet at 10.30am sharp outside Limuru Girls School. The sunshine has returned! The views all the way to Nairobi and the Ngong Hills are awesome again. The recent rains are generating a full waterfall flow. The farm team have unloaded a trailer load of bamboo seedlings for upgrading the forest riverine area (many thanks to neighbours, the Gordons).
