Last night, at 2:21 AM, three lions came to pay us a visit at The Bush Camp.
While we were fast asleep, our camera trap was wide awake and captured all three of them.
One, in particular, seemed rather intrigued by that strange little box sitting in the darkness. It came closer, gave it a good inspection and, of course, couldn’t resist a little sniff.
Who knows what it was thinking… perhaps wondering who exactly was watching whom.
Because in the bush, when night falls, the most unexpected guests are the ones who arrive without a reservation.
Questa notte, alle 2:21, tre leoni sono passati a farci visita al Bush Camp.
Mentre noi dormivamo tranquilli, la nostra fototrappola era lì, al lavoro, e li ha immortalati tutti e tre.
Uno, in particolare, sembrava parecchio incuriosito da quella strana scatoletta piazzata nel buio. Si è avvicinato, l’ha studiata per bene e, naturalmente, non poteva mancare una bella annusatina.
Chissà cosa avrà pensato… forse si chiedeva chi fosse il curioso dall’altra parte della fototrappola.
Perché nel Bush, quando cala la notte, gli ospiti più sorprendenti sono quelli che arrivano senza prenotazione.
