THE SAD STORY OF THE TERMITE QUEEN

She doesn’t move.
She can’t feed herself.
She has only one job: to lay eggs.

The termite queen is one of the most extreme reproductive machines on Earth.
She begins life like any ordinary termite — small and agile.
But after mating, something extraordinary happens: her abdomen begins to swell. Slowly but surely. Without stopping.

Inside her bloated body, ovaries stretch into every segment.
She produces over 20,000 eggs per day.
Her belly grows to the size of a human finger,
while her head remains insect-sized.

She becomes paralyzed.
Unable to move.
Unable to feed herself.
She can only receive care from loyal workers: fed, cleaned, protected.

Her skin stretches, forming deep folds.
The outer layer thins.
And if the rhythm of egg production exceeds the workers’ ability to carry them away,
those eggs can start destroying her from the inside.

Some queens rupture — torn apart by their own overproductivity.
The colony discards her body.
And the king? He simply finds a new mate.
The cycle begins again.

This isn’t a system failure.
It’s part of the system itself.

The queen is merely a living womb.
And when that womb fails,
she dies — quietly — in the very kingdom she gave birth to.

NAIVASHA
1. Naivasha is a town in Nakuru County, Kenya, located approximately 90 kilometers northwest of Nairobi.

"Do you know that...? - Old bees don't return to the hive in the evening? They spnd the night on flowers, and if they have the chance to see another sunrise, they resume their activity by bringing pollen or nectar to the colony. They do this sensing that the end is near. No bee waits to die in the hive so as not to burden the others. 🐝🐝🐝 - Bees have cold blood like all insects, yet at the colony level, they are a warm mega-organism. 🐝🐝🐝 - There are bees that bring pollen and bees that bring nectar, never will a pollen-collectng bee change its task to bring nectar and vice versa. 🐝🐝🐝 - Although dandelions are yellow, their pollen collected by bees turns orange in the mixing urn with nectar. 🐝🐝🐝 - The record for keeping a bee colony alive during winter was 356 days without them going out for cleansing flights. 🐝🐝🐝 - Bees can be useful to humans even after they have died, as they are used in the form of poultices to treat joint pain. 🐝🐝🐝 - Bees never sleep. ... Not All Enemies Are Enemies.

When baboons and monkeys heard that the man who used to chase them away from the maize field has died, they hysterically celebrated.

The following year, there was no maize. That's when they painfully realised the dead man was the farmer!

People might not see the usefulness of your actions today but will realize its importance when you are no longer present.

Remember, not all enemies are enemies.

Some of our adversaries are a necessity

Kundi la maprofesa waliitwa kupanda ndege.
Milango ilipofungwa maprofesa walifahamishwa kuwa ndege hiyo imetengenezwa na wanafunzi wao.
Maprofesa wote wakakimbilia kwenye mlango wa ndege wakiomba kushuka.
Isipokuwa profesa mmoja tu alibaki ameketi kwa ujasiri na utulivu.

Kuna mtu alimuuliza, "kwanini hauhangaiki kushuka kwenye ndege k**a wenzako?"
Profesa akajibu kwa kujiamini,
"Ni wanafunzi wangu waliunda hii ndege".
Akaulizwa tena, "Kwahiyo una uhakika uliwafundisha vizuri? Profesa alijibu;
"K**a ni wanafunzi wangu, Nina uhakika haitopaa.."

Let me give you a story today
There was once a hat-seller who passed by a forest on his way back from the market. The weather was very hot and so he decided to take a nap under one of the trees, so he left his whole basket of hats by the side.

A few hours later, he woke up by some sounds. The next thing he realized was that all his hats was gone. He heard some monkeys on the tree and so he looked up. To his surprise, the tree was full of monkeys and they had taken all his hats.

The hat-seller sits down and think of how he can get the hats down. He think and think and start scratching his head. The next moment, he realized that the monkeys were doing the same action.

Next, he took down his own hat and saw the monkeys do exactly the same. An idea came to him, he took his hat and throw it on the floor and the monkeys do that too.

So he finally managed to get all his hats back.

Fifty years later, his grandson, Jack, also became a hat-seller and had heard this monkey story from his grandfather.

One day, just like his grandfather, he passed by the same forest, it was very hot, and he took a nap under the same tree and left the hats on the floor. He woke up and realized that all his hats were gone. He looked up and realized that the monkeys had taken all the hats. He remembered his grand father's words, started scratching his head and the monkeys follows.

He took down his hat and fanned himself and again the monkeys followed. Now, very convinced of his grandfather's idea, JACK threw his hat on the floor but to his surprise, the monkeys still hold on to all the hats.

Then one monkey climbed down the tree, grabbed the hat on the floor, gave him a slap and said "You think only you have a grandfather".
