Chingwede is set in lush gardens typical of the Kenyan coast, with lovingly nurtured tropical plants and lush green grass. An indigenous forest separates the house from the beach, and the beach is accessible along a 20 yard private sandy path. The swimming pool is private, and set in front of the house looking over the indigenous forest below to the Indian Ocean. Chingwede is an ideal spot for fam

ily holidays, and the newly added swimming pool has been a great success. The next door property, Samawati (KY2) sleeps 8, making the pair of villas perfect for parties of up to 16 people. Both houses are large and spacious, with plenty of room to play and relax. The closest Supermarkets are in Diani 30 minutes from the villa, whilst fresh fruit and seafood can be bought in the local village or brought to the house by the local fishermen. Msambweni is an hour's drive from Mombasa International Airport and only 30 minutes from Diani airstrip.

"This is a beautiful house right on the edge of the water in sleepy Msambweni. It is a welcome respite from the more crowded beaches in Diani, and very easy to still do fun activities and day trips from the house. The seafood is incredible - definitely just let the chef do his thing! The beach is right below you - down a beautiful stone staircase that winds through trees. It's all quite magical!"

At Chingwede we think that no holiday is complete without delicious food. Your stay includes a chef, Hassan, who can cook the most mouthwatering dishs while you sit back and relax. Lots of fresh local produce and ingredients can be delivered right to your door including a variety if seafood daily. 🤤
