Luxury safari in Amboseli, Kenya now has a new address. A&K Sanctuary Kitirua Plains Lodge has opened on a private concession bordering Amboseli National Park, ten minutes from the main gate, with Mount Kilimanjaro sitting on the horizon.

The lodge was built to read as part of the land rather than something placed on top of it. Curved walls, exterior plaster blended with soil from the site itself, woven rush ceilings, and a pool dropped into an existing wetland where elephants pass within view. Thirteen standalone suites open onto plains, seasonal marshes, and acacia woodland, the kind of country where lions, cheetahs, and Amboseli’s great tuskers move through and the birdsong rarely settles.

This male coalition turned a storm into their most powerful weapon. Thunder swallowed their approach.The wildbeest herd ,backs turned hard against the driving rain,never saw this coming .
The cheetahs read every second of it,closed the distance, isolated a yearling and brought it down with seamless coordination.
