On my 40th birthday exactly two weeks ago Oct 27th 2025 at 9:20am, I stood on the Roof of Africa — Mount Kilimanjaro 🏔️
40 years old. 19,341 feet high. Celebrating my 40th trip around the sun 19,341 feet above it.

This journey was more than a climb — it was a celebration of purpose, perseverance, and possibility. I had the honor of leading a group of four, including myself as the company owner, on my travel company’s inaugural expedition to Africa’s highest peak. Partnering with a local Tanzanian company made this experience even more meaningful, as it aligned perfectly with our mission to support and uplift African entrepreneurs.

On that summit, I became the second documented Liberian to reach the top of Kilimanjaro — and I did it on my actual 40th birthday! Every step reminded me that dreams don’t have deadlines, and when passion and purpose align, there’s no mountain too high.

Here’s to breaking barriers, creating pathways for others, and showing the world the power, resilience, and brilliance of Black Girl Magic !
