5-Days Mt.Kenya up sirimoni down chogoria.
Day1: Nairobi -Sirimoni gate 2650m -Old Moses camp 3300m .Trekk from Sirimoni gate to Old Moses camp a distance of 9km about 3- 4 hours depending on your pace.dinner and overnight at Old Moses camp.

Day2: Sirimoni-shiptons camp 4200m.
After breakfast leave Old Moses to Shiptons a distance of 14km about 6-7 hours depending on your pace.dinner and overnight at Shiptons camp

Day3: Shiptons - simba tarn 4612m
After breakfast leave for a short sharp ascent to simba tarn dinner and overnight.

Day4: Simba tarn - Lenana summit 4985m - chogoria gate 2950m. Have breakfast at 4:00 am to attempt the summit a journey that takes 1:30 hours to reach the summit point. lenana is the third highest peak in Mt kenya and the only one that can be reached by trekking. on a clear sky you can see Mt kilimanjaro on a southern side and Indian ocean. After enjoying the summit descend back to simba tarn for breakfast and proceed down chogoria for dinner and overnight.

Day5: Chogoria gate - chogoria town-nairobi
After breakfast walk down 32 km through the dense chogoria rainforest. and proceed to Nairobi.
