In partnership with Mawira Foundation, yesterday we held an early celebration of Menstrual Hygiene Day ahead of the official date on 28th May.
Students from Mpukoni, Gacuuri, Ikuu and Kanyuru schools all gathered at Mpukoni Primary for the celebration. It was a meaningful and impactful day focused on education, empowerment, and community support.
I extend my sincere appreciation to all our supporters for the great work and support:
- Rotary Club
- Optimal Hospital
- Women Enterprise Fund
- Educate a Rural Girl
- Red Cross
- Kenya Forest Service
To commemorate the day, we planted trees within the school compound as part of our commitment to conservation and environmental sustainability.
Through Twiga Community Trust, we remain committed to enhancing community well-being through improved education, conservation & environment, healthcare and community empowerment.
Every safari you take with us helps support and uplift a community.
