Over the past couple of weeks Borana has been receiving rainfall almost on a daily basis. The thirsty ground is soaking up all the moisture and turning the landscape into a lush green pasture.

Fantastic photograph by .marc “Striped Hyena w/DikDik kill” Just to see a Striped Hyena is a special occasion let alone to see one with a kill is quite rare indeed! We believe this female was taking her prize back to her pups @ the den. Apart from seeing Giza in all her splendor this was another highlight of my 9 nights here.👍 Can’t wait to get back again in March.
