1️⃣ Nairobi National Park is the oldest national park in Kenya, established in 1946
2️⃣ It is the closest national park to a city in the world, located only 10 km south of Nairobi's central business district.
3️⃣ The park used to be 124 square kilometers, but its size has been reduced.
4️⃣ Nairobi National Park is a rhino sanctuary with 76 indigenous black rhinos and 13 white rhinos.
5️⃣ more than 40 lions are in the park, along with other wildlife such as leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and over 400 species of birds.
