What we love about our hikes isn’t just about the mountain but the people.
Every trip is a reminder that you don’t have to do hard things alone. Whether it’s your first time or you fiftieth time hiking,you’ll be walking with a team that supports each other. We walk together and share snacks, jokes, laughter and sometimes silence. It’s never a race.

Mt. Satima, also known as Ol Doinyo Satima, stands as a breathtaking jewel in the heart of Kenya. This 3rd highest peak in the Kenya reaches an elevation of 4,001 meters (13,120 feet) above sea level. This hike is ideal for anyone training for Mt Kenya or looking to get into high altitude climbing.

Difficulty Level : Challenging (perfect for high altitude training)
Trail Distance:15 kms.
Elevation gain: 650-700m
Duration of Hike: 6-7 hours

If you hear Kilimanjaro, you know that everyone comes to this mountain with their own journey.

Some come to explore.
Some come out of curiosity.
Some come to challenge themselves.
And some come carrying a dream they’ve had for years.

We’ve had the privilege of seeing so many of those dreams come true on the summit. We’ve experienced the beauty of this mountain again and again; and somehow, we never get enough of it. 🏔️

KENZE GORGES & RIVER TRAIL HIKE on Saturday, 15th August, 2026

🏔️ About the trail:

Kenze Gorges is located on the hills of Kilome in Makueni County. This unique trail provides the perfect picturesque spot for beginner hikers and anyone looking to explore the Eastern side of Kenya. The journey begins at Mukaa and descends through inhabited hills, leading to a vibrant temporary river with impressive rock formations, rock pools, and scenic spots. The trail then traverses a former forested area with three small rounded summits. Descending on the opposite side, it concludes with a gradual uphill stretch back to the starting point.

Difficulty Level: Moderate.
Trail Distance: 14 kms.
Duration of Hike: 5–6 hours
