Tourism is one of the most significant sectors in all the economies of the EAC region. Tembea Tujenge Afrika Mashariki is a dynamic platform aimed at driving the regional tourism agenda which is part of cohesion among the East Africa member states both socially and economically.

Today accompanied by Amb Hon. Dan Kazungu, EGH, we met with Hon Dr Peter Mathuki, the Secretary General, East Africa Community together with the Chairman of the East Africa Chamber of Commerce Mr Benson Kasue at the EAC Headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania.

They have given the Green Light to launch the initiative in July, thus stimulating the East African Regional Tourism Growth through partnerships and collaboration.
