Behind every breathtaking sunrise, every perfectly timed sighting, and every unforgettable moment… is a team that makes it all possible.

Today, we honour the passion and dedication of those who turn journeys into lifelong memories.

At Twiga Tours, it is our people who bring East Africa to life.

Elegant. Endangered. Unmistakably regal.

The Grey Crowned Crane - with its golden crown and graceful poise - is more than just a bird; it’s a symbol of Africa’s wild beauty and delicate balance.

A quiet reminder that some of nature’s greatest treasures don’t roar… they dance.

Meet Perciato, also known as Clemence. He's a Masai elder living in Ngorongoro. He became quite famous in about 2015/2016 because of his American accent. It was a highlight to meet him in person, albeit completely unplanned, on recent trip to Tanzania.

In the wild, strength often wears a softer face.

A moment so rare, so intimate — a hyena mother with her tiny cub, no more than a few days old, stepping gently into the world. There was no rush, no fear… just trust. She allowed us a glimpse into something deeply personal — her cub nestled close, seeking warmth, safety, and the quiet rhythm of her heartbeat.

In that stillness, you see it clearly — motherhood in its purest form. Protective, patient, and profoundly tender.

Sometimes, the wild isn’t about the chase… it’s about these quiet, extraordinary moments of connection.

The Great Migration isn’t a moment — it’s a continuous journey.

While many focus on July to September, April and May offer a hidden gem. The herds are still on the move, the landscapes are lush, and the crowds are minimal — giving you a far more intimate wildlife experience.
Add to that unbeatable pricing, and it becomes one of the smartest times to travel.

Less crowds. Better value. Same breathtaking migration.

48 hrs in Samburu was Elephant galore

Roaming the plains, crossing dusty roads, and wading through rivers, Samburu’s elephants put on a breathtaking display.
Mothers and babies moved in perfect rhythm — a portrait of love, play, protection, and peace in the wild.

Soft morning mist blankets the Amboseli plains as the great giants of the wild move quietly through the grasslands - their babies close, learning the ancient rhythm of the land.

This is Amboseli.

Raw, peaceful, unforgettable.
