A beautiful black rhino mum and her calf... but don't miss the little detail that makes this sighting even more special.

Watch mum carefully as she feeds. Notice how she tilts her head slightly towards the ground. Unlike white rhinos, black rhinos have a pointed, prehensile upper lip designed for browsing leaves, shoots and shrubs. When feeding close to the ground, that distinctive lip often results in this subtle head tilt.

It's one of those small behaviours that's easy to overlook, but once you notice it, you'll never stop looking for it.
