Most of us are yet to explore the scenic Wandare Route to the summit of Mt. Ol Donyo Satima — and on 12th July 2025, we’re inviting you to join us for this special hike!

Standing tall at 4001m ASL, Satima is the highest peak in the Aberdares. It’s the perfect hike for those preparing to summit Mt. Kenya or Kilimanjaro, thanks to its high elevation and moderate difficulty — great for acclimatization.

But it’s not just about the challenge — the views are absolutely breathtaking, with rolling moorlands, rocky outcrops, and a serene mountain vibe that makes this trail a favorite for nature lovers and solitude seekers.
