I saw this hotel onlineโ€”photos were giving โ€œCoast meets Santoriniโ€ vibes. Price? Ksh 5,500 for two nights on Full board๐Ÿ‘€
I told myself, โ€œGod is doing it!โ€ Booked it faster than how Safaricom bundles get exhausted.

I reached the gateโ€ฆ silence. No askari. Just a mama mboga wondering, โ€œHapa ni hotel?โ€ Red flag number one.

I get in, the receptionist is chewing githeri and looks confused.
I tell her, โ€œNiko na booking.โ€
She exclaims โ€œHiyo ni wewe?โ€ ๐Ÿ˜

The room?
โ€“ Bed was slanted,Mosquito net had more holes than our government promises, No towels, no soap ๐Ÿ˜ญ
