Ngong Hills Reverse: Corner Baridi Gate to Ngong Gate.
The popular and scenic Ngong hills hike is back! Whether it is your first time, second or third, the spectacular views are always rewarding. Lets do it!
We will start the hike from ‘corner baridi’ where the vehicle will drop us , walk through the 7 hills and get picked at the other end of Ngong town near Kenya Forest Gate. The end of the hike will take us through the Ngong Hills Wind Power Station -The first wind farm in the country.
The trail will take us through a ridge of hills with spectacular views of Nairobi on one side and the Rift Valley on the other.
Each peak reward hikers with a different view. Trekking up the hills is rewarding but can be challenging for unfit hikers.
Ngong hills featured In the Oscar-winning 1985 film Out of Africa , the four most prominent peaks ('knuckles') of the Hills appear in the background of several scenes filmed near Karen Blixen's house.
The hike takes about 4 hours depending on your pace. The driving time to the start point is about 1 hour from Karen.

Nakumat Junction 7:30 am (outside Java)
Karen shopping center : 7:45 am (Outside Java)
Due to Covid requirement, we will take minimum number in the bus. PLEASE only reserve if you are sure of attending.
