- $2M+ raised for agribusiness clients
- Team expansion, new partnerships, and a bold grassroots movement taking root

DFAC isn’t just growing, it’s helping build a more food-secure, innovative, and inclusive future for Nigerian agriculture.

From Township Hustle to Smart Manufacturing.

Cindy Mkwanazi, founder of ChemKhowa Crystal Nature, started her detergent business with grit and determination but no structured support. Like many African entrepreneurs, she had to figure it out alone.

That changed when she joined the UNDP timbuktoo ManuTech Bootcamp.
With tools like AI-based prototyping and real-time inventory tracking, Cindy gained the knowledge and systems she needed to optimise production and grow with confidence.

Can you build a thriving business without networks, funding, or formal infrastructure?

Thousands of township entrepreneurs are doing just that and still being overlooked.
At our Kasipreneur launch, we brought together bold thinkers to ask: what would it take to truly support these business builders?

Huge thanks to Adam Solomons (PayABill), Sicelo Masuku (NSCA), and Trevor Waller (Two Ways Academy) for grounding the conversation in action, not theory.

Our Story

AMI was founded in 2014 on a vision for a million skilled managers and entrepreneurs building thriving businesses, creating jobs and getting Africa moving. While there is no shortage of talent in Africa, we believe there is a critical lack of business and management skills. Most traditional training solutions are expensive, ineffective and ill-suited to dynamic Africa markets. We created AMI because we believe there is a better way to learn, and that with the right tools and habits, entrepreneurs and managers across the continent can be empowered to drive Africa forward.
