From coffee tables to mountain trails… the Java sun made it all the way to Likii North- Mt Kenya😌🌄

There was something special about seeing that flag standing tall against the Mt Kenya skies — through the cold, the altitude, the “surely we must be there by now?” moments 😅 and all the little breaks in between.

Somehow, it felt right seeing the Java sun up there with us. A familiar sight, far from the city, reminding us just how far a good adventure can take you.

Thank you, , for the continued support, the generous partnership, and the granola bars that honestly rescued a few hikers when the mountain started asking serious questions 🍫😂

And who knows... maybe Point Lenana is the next stop for the Java flag? 👀🏔️

Happy Madaraka Day, hikers 🇰🇪🏔️🌿

Today we celebrate the gift of freedom — and on the trail, we feel it in our own way. The freedom to wake up before sunrise, leave the noise behind, chase a summit, breathe deeper, and remember that some of life’s best moments happen outside.

And maybe that’s why hiking feels a little special — strangers become friends, snacks somehow taste better, tired legs turn into stories, and every summit reminds us how beautiful this country really is.

Thank you for choosing the early mornings, the long walks, the summit laughs, and for always showing up for the journey.

Here’s to more trails, more views, more Kenyan sunrises, and the freedom to keep exploring.

CASTLE FOREST HIKE & KAMWETI FALL 🌿🏔️💦

A beginner-friendly, yet moderate hike… with just enough challenge to keep things interesting 😄

This time we’re heading to Castle Forest in Kamweti for a proper day outdoors — forest trails, river crossings, waterfall views, fresh air, good company, and the kind of hike where you actually get to enjoy the journey without fighting for survival every few minutes 😅

The trail starts at Kamweti Forest Gate, following scenic forest roads before gradually descending towards the beautiful Kamweti Fall 💦🌿

Expect easy conversations, random photo stops, peaceful forest moments… and a few sections here and there to remind your legs this is still a real hike 😄🏔️

And of course, after earning it properly… we finish the day the best way we know how 🍛🔥
