The Aberdare National Park is situated approximately 100 km North of Nairobi city and it stretches further to the Aberdare forest mountain. Here, there are different forms of terrains that vary in altitudes ranging from approximately 2,100 meters to 4,300 meters above sea level. This National Park was started in the year 1950 for the purposes of conserving and maintaining the environment and its wildlife. Also, it had an intention of being a tourist’s attraction site for it holds one of the most attractive Mountain Peaks that can be seen from a great distance.
