ITINERARY
TRACING THE FOOTSTEPS OF MOSES AND JESUS CHRIST: EGYPT – ISRAEL
DAY 1:
Cairo, pyramids and sphinx
Arrival Cairo International airport, meet and assist through visa and customs procedures. Transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2:
Pharonic village and old Cairo
Breakfast at hotel followed by a visit to the Pharonic village to see how the Egyptian used to build their houses, cultivate their plants and erect the tall obelisks. You will also be able to see the point where it’s believed Moses was picked from the basket by the Pharaohs Daughter. You will also not miss to see samples/ maquetes of the Ancient monuments.
Lunch and then visit the part of old Cairo where you will visit the first Church where Moses Mary and Jesus lived while in their hiding in Egypt. You will also visit the Hanging church where Christians were hanged in the old days when Christianity was not allowed in Egypt. Then proceed to stroll through the Turkish style bazaars of Khan el Khalili before returning back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3:
St Katherine
Breakfast at hotel and then we will start our journey to St. Katherine, where we will cross the red sea, enroute you will also pass by Ahmed Hamdy tunnel that links Africa with Asia. After a short drive we will pass by the beautiful wadi of Feiran with its breath-taking palm view. After that you will have another stop at the well where the children of Israel got their water while at the desert.
Lunch and continue till St. Katherine. Arrival for check-in. Free time to enjoy swimming or relax and see the shinning stars in the clear sky above us. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:
Mt Sinai, Eilat
Early morning walk up Mt. Sinai to see the sun rise. Later visit to the Greek-Orthodox monastery of St. Katherine will be arranged where we can see the chapel and the burning bush. Get ready and drive through the coastal road of Gulf of Aqabn to reach Israel in 3 hours. Cross Taba border from Sinai in the afternoon. Meet and assist by our representative and transfer to a hotel in Eilat on the Red Sea. Dinner and overnight in Eilat.
DAY 5:
Jerusalem
Depart Eilat North along the Arava Valley. Stop at the Dead-Sea for the Experience of floating in these special heavy waters. Lunch in the area. Continue North to visit Qumran caves where the Dead-Sea Scrolls were found you will use the cable car up the hill. After Qumran, stop at the Tabernacle in the desert near Kibbutz Almog.
End the day in the Holy City of Jerusalem.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 6:
Mt of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Capernaum, sea of Galilee
After breakfast, we will drive to the Mt of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mountain. We will then go to Tabgha where it is believed the miracle of the fish and the loaves happened.. Visit Capernaum, one of the main cities in the area during Jesus time.
We will be able to feel the Sea of Galilee with a boat ride and finish our day in one of the main cities in the area during Jesus time.

Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 7:
Mt Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Bethlehem
After breakfast we will visit the Mt. of Olives- the place where Jesus Christ spent His last hours and the place where He made his way to Jerusalem riding on a donkey.We will then proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane-the place where Jesus prayed during His last hours.
We will visit the Caiaphas’ House (Chief Priest during Jesus time). We will then Proceed to nearby Mt. Zion to visit the Room of the Last Supper and the Tomb of King David. After lunch break drive to Bethlehem. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Shepherd's Fields.
Later return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 8:
Nazareth, Cana, Caesarea
After breakfast, we will drive to Nazareth – the boyhood town of Jesus Christ, and see the Annunciation church and do tour of the city’s Bazaar. After Nazareth we will drive to Cana the site of the first miracle.
We will then continue to Mt. Carmel – the place where Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal.
Finally to Caesarea which was the seat of the Roman governor.
Ascend to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 9:
Beersheba, Ella Valley
After breakfast, we will drive to Negev Desert visiting Beersheba- the place where Abraham dug the well. We will see the remaining of the city from the time of King Hezekiah. We will then drive North visiting Beit Guvrin and Emek Haella (Ella Valley), the place where David defeated Goliath.
Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
DAY 10:
Dead Sea, Taba, Cairo
Leave Jerusalem and drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on the surface of the earth. Experience a swim on these
Waters which have amazing healing powers. Continue through the desert to the Border at Taba to cross into Egypt. Drive to Cairo. Check into a hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight.
DAY 11:
Departure
Free in the morning for last day shopping and later transfer to airport for departure to Nairobi.
