Day 01 – Arrival
Met upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our representative. Assistance and transfer to your
hotel. Accommodation at Panari Hotel (BB)
Day 02 – Nairobi/Samburu Reserve
After breakfast, drive north via Nanyuki and Mt Kenya to the Samburu National Reserve. Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Lodge (LDBB)
Day 03 – Samburu Reserve
Early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast..Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive.

Day 04 – Samburu Reserve/ Aberdare Park
After breakfast drive to the Aberdares arriving in time for lunch at Outspan Hotel. Transfer to Treetops lodge.

Day 05 – Aberdare Park /L.Naivasha
After breakfast depart with game drive en-route to Lake Naivasha to arrive for check in and lunch. Afternoon
at leisure. Dinner and overnight at L. Naivasha Country Club (LDBB)
Day 06 – L. Naivasha / Masai Mara Reserve
Breakfast at your Lodge. Depart and drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Afternoon game viewing drive.
Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge (LDBB)
Day 07 – Masai Mara Reserve
Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge
(LDBB)
Day 08 – Masai Mara / Nairobi / Amboseli Park
After breakfast drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at The Carnivore Restaurant. Afternoon proceed to
Amboseli. Game drive enroute to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge (LDBB)
Day 09 – Amboseli Park
Early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. Lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and
overnight at Oltukai Lodge (LDBB)
Day 10 – Amboseli Park/ Nairobi/ Departure
After breakfast, drive to Nairobi and drop off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your departure flight
back home.

Day 01 - NairobiQ JKIA – INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi you will be met and assisted by an Africa Journeys representative for transfer to the House of Waine, a quaint private house in a quiet suburb of Nairobi. Depending on your arrival schedule you may opt for some of the excursion that we offer or relax at the pool and lovely living areas. Meals and overnight will be at the House of Waine (LDBB)


Day 02 - Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast you will visit the nearby Giraffe Center for endangered Rothschild giraffe, followed by the Daphne Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (as featured in BBC's Elephant Diaries). After lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant you will be transferred to the Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival you will be met at the airstrip for transfer to your camp. You will have an introductory nature walk with a naturalist is followed by an off-road game drive before returning for dinner and overnight at the Siana Intrepids Camp (L-DBB)



Day 03 - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Breakfast at the lodge followed by morning and afternoon game drives.


{Today you also have an opportunity to go on a spectacular Optional balloon ride across the Masai Mara. The BALLOON SAFARI ADVENTURE begins in the pre-dawn hours and the magnificent view over the park is thrilling. Towards the end of the flight, you rise to a height of 1500 feet for a panoramic view of the twisting Mara River and the savannah below. After an hour or so in the air, your safari finishes with a flourish: a champagne breakfast in the bush, cooked on the balloon's burners! Please note that this is an optional extra not included in the main tour package price – In the event of unfavorable weather a full refund will be given if the balloon does not take off}. This is your full day to explore the Mara a ravishingly beautiful place that also offers long, undisturbed views and utterly dramatic panoramas.

Lunch, dinner and overnight will be at the Siana Intrepids Camp (LDBB)


Day 04 - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Breakfast at the lodge followed by morning and afternoon game drives. You will have the services of a professional Driver / guide will introduce you to the magnificent birds of Kenya.

Return to camp before sunset for an exhilarating bush dinner (arrange for a minimum 6 persons in the group).



Meals and overnight will be at the Siana Intrepids Camp (LDBB)


Day 05 - Naivasha
Departure at 0730hrs

After breakfast check out and drive on the floor of the Rift Valley to the Great Rift Valley Resort whose setting overlooks Lake Naivasha. The resort offers an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, riding, pool and an adventure club. After lunch at the lodge you will visit the Elsa mere Born Free Centre, former home of Joy and George Adamson. You will also take a boat safari on the lake, followed by traditional English tea under tall fever trees. Return for dinner and overnight at the Great Rift Valley Lodge (LDBB)


Day 06 - Naivasha
Today you will relax and enjoy lodge facilities or take optional excursions.

Day 07 - Mt.Kenya
Departure at 0730hrs

After breakfast we depart early for Lake Nakuru National Park to observe the huge flocks of Flamingo and Pelican. You may also see Black and White Rhino, Leopard, Lion and Rothschild Giraffe. After lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge within the park you will proceed to the world-famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club. Dinner and overnight will be at the Mt Kenya Safari Club (L-DBB)


Day 08- Mt. Kenya
Departure at 0830hrs

Wake up to glorious views of Mt Kenya on a clear day. After breakfast you will visit the Sweet waters wildlife sanctuary, host to the Jane Goodall Sanctuary. Here you will see the chimps that are undergoing rehabilitation, and visit the Rhino Center to learn about Rhino conservation. Afterwards return to the Club for a late lunch and an afternoon of relaxation before dinner & overnight at Mt Kenya Safari Club (LDBB)

Day 09 - Departure
After breakfast, we drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the Jomo Kenyatta airport for your flight back home. Africa Journeys representative will reconfirm your flights and assist at check-in. An optional dayroom can be arranged in Nairobi before transfer to the airport for your onward international flight recommended. (This Family safari is best extended with a beach holiday)

Queen Elizabeth National Park 2 NIGHTS / 3 DAYS

Day 01 - Kampala – Queen Elizabeth - Travel time: 460km Approx. 6 hours

This morning you will depart Kampala with an Africa Journeys Escapes for Queen Elizabeth National park stopping enroute to look at the Royal Drum makers, and stand on the equator, where you will be able to be in both hemispheres simultaneously. You will continue through the verdant country side arriving at your lodge in the late afternoon. Arrive in the park in the afternoon and if possible, go for a game drive in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Lodge or similar (LDBB).

Day 02 - Queen Elizabeth National park.

In morning, you will have a game drive to the Kisenyi area to look for lion prides and other wildlife like the Uganda Kob, before returning to the Lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon take a cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of the largest concentrations of hippopotamus, as well as herds of elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife that come to drink from the river. The Kazinga also attracts a tremendous variety of bird species including the African Eagle, Open-Billed Stork, and Pied Kingfishers.

Dinner and overnight at Mweya Lodge or similar (LDBB).

Optional activities include Queens Pavilion, Katwe Salt Walk and Kikorongo African Ark Workshop.


Day 03 - Queen Elizabeth- Kampala

Have a morning game drive as you depart the park arriving in Kampala or Entebbe in the evening where your safari will end.

Day 01 - Arusha

Day 02 – Arusha/Tarangire National Park
Breakfast at the lodge. Check out and drive to Tarangire National Park. Check in and be shown to your rooms. Lunch at the lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 03 –Tarangire National Park
About 120km south of Arusha on the Dodoma road, Tarangire rivals the Serengeti for the size of the game herds that congregate here. Many of the animals crowd around the only source of permanent water in the park, the Tarangire River. Morning and afternoon game drive in the park. Enjoy the activities offered at the lodge. All meals and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day 04 – Tarangire National Park/Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Depart for a morning game drive in the Park. Return for breakfast at the lodge. Mid morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving for lunch. Afternoon at leisure before proceeding to an evening game drive in the park.

Day 04 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area/Lake Manyara National Park

Today you will descend 2000 feet (0ver 600 metres) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. After lunch drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the Rift Valley's numerous alkaline lakes, which apart from its abundant bird life, is known for its tree-climbing lions.

Day 05 – Lake Manyara National Park/Arusha/Departure

After breakfast drive to the town of Arusha for lunch. After lunch drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight back home. An Africa Journeys Escapes representative will re-confirm your onward flight, and assist you at check-in.
