We are incredibly excited to share a new chapter in the story of Tapestry of Africa Tours and Safaris—our new logo!

We have always loved our original logo, with its beautiful African sunrise and silhouettes of the iconic wildlife we all love. But as our company has grown, we realized something: while it represented the beauty of an African safari, it didn't fully tell the story behind our name—Tapestry of Africa.

Throughout Africa, colorful fabrics, intricate patterns, and woven textiles are much more than decoration. Their colors and designs can tell stories of heritage, culture, tribes, communities, and generations. Each thread becomes part of something larger and more beautiful.

And that's exactly how we see an African safari.

A safari isn't just about seeing the animals. It's the breathtaking landscapes. It's meeting the people. It's experiencing the cultures. It's the sounds, colors, conversations, laughter, and unexpected moments along the way. Each experience is like another thread, woven together to create something uniquely yours.

When you return home, we hope you don't simply bring back photographs. We hope you bring home your own beautiful collection of memories—your personal Tapestry of Africa.

That's why we're so excited to introduce our new logo, which brings the colors, textures, and woven patterns of Africa into the familiar imagery that has always represented us.

While hippos may be famous for spending much of their time in the water, that doesn’t mean they stay there all day. These incredible animals also venture onto land to graze on grasses—sometimes traveling surprising distances in search of a meal.

Some safari moments stay with you long after the journey ends. This was definitely one of them. 🦁❤️

On our most recent Discovering the Spirit of Kenya & Tanzania adventure, we watched in awe as these lions walked right alongside our safari vehicle. No zoom lens needed—just a front-row seat to the wild unfolding around us.

It’s hard to describe what it feels like to be this close to such powerful animals in their natural habitat. You stay quiet, take it all in, and realize just how extraordinary it is to simply share the same space with them.

One of our favorite moments from an incredible journey—and one we won’t soon forget.
