This Labour Day, we celebrate not just the work we do, but the work that protects what matters.

Kenya is home to one of the rarest animals in the world, the Mountain Bongo. Found only in our highland forests like Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Range, this beautiful forest antelope is now critically endangered, with fewer than 100 left in the wild.

In a hopeful step forward, Kenya Wildlife Service recently received 4 mountain bongos from the Czech Republic to help restore their population and strengthen conservation efforts.

It’s a reminder that behind every step forward, whether in our work or in conservation, there are people committed to making a difference.

As you mark Labour Day, take time to appreciate the efforts that go into protecting our wildlife and heritage. You can even plan a visit and be part of this story.
