The wildebeest migration is still on in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. One of the factors to consider for such a trip is accommodation and experience! Fremmy Adventures, your reliable travel partner will take you there and one of the best accommodation facilities is BaseCamp Mara.
Basecamp Masai Mara has 17 spacious river-view tents, including 2 family tents. Bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve and hidden away under thatched roofs on a lush peninsula along the Talek River, the tents offer great views of the savannah, always populated by wildlife. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom that includes a shower both inside and one open-air safari shower, in addition to a private terrace with views towards the Talek river bed and the Masai Mara National Reserve. From here, guests enjoy views of the Mara landscape and its animals from the comfort of their tents. Happy new month! The rainy weather has been with us for a while now and your safety is important than anything else.
Here are some tips to keep you safe:
1. Avoid crossing flooded rivers and bridges.
2. If it's really necessary to go out of your way to cross a river or bridge, please seek help from the authorities, Red cross and other community support groups.
3. Avoid over speeding on sleepery roads if you are driving.
4.Move to a safer place if the flood waters are likely to drain into your house.
5. Dress warmly to avoid diseases and infections that come with rainy water.
