A key highlight of the Tourism Creativity & Innovation Forum 2026 was a virtual session by Giuseppe Cianci CEO of .co.ke and .africa .

Giuseppe delivered an insightful presentation on AI, SEO and Online Booking Optimization, offering practical perspectives on how emerging technologies are reshaping visibility, customer engagement and revenue generation in the tourism and hospitality sector.

His session explored how AI is transforming SEO and online visibility for hotels and tourism businesses, strategies for improving direct bookings through website optimisation, enhancing customer experience and conversion through smart digital tools and emerging trends in AI-powered booking and revenue growth.

He also provided a brief overview of BooknBook’s solutions and how they are supporting the digital transformation of tourism businesses across Africa.

The Kenya Tourism Awards (KTA) successfully hosted the Tourism Creativity & Innovation Forum 2026 at Weston Hotel, Nairobi, bringing together key stakeholders from across the tourism, hospitality, technology, finance, media, and public sectors.

Held under the theme “Reimagining Kenya’s Tourism Future Through Innovation & Technology,” the Forum provided a high-level platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing and collaboration on the future of Kenya’s tourism industry.

The event featured a powerful Keynote Address by .clemens , CEO of HospitalityEQ & Chair of the Kenya Tourism Awards Advisory Board, who highlighted the critical role of innovation in driving sustainable tourism growth, enhancing competitiveness, and positioning Kenya as a forward-looking global destination.

A high-level Panel Discussion brought together leading industry experts, including Dr. Enock Makanga, CEO of Impact Hospitality Institute & Vice Chair of the KTA Advisory Board; Bhupendra Kumar, General Manager of Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi; , Founder of HotelOnline; Harriet Owalla, Travel Journalist ; FCPA Ronald Bwosi, CEO of Ronalds LLP; Melisa Michuki, Data Engineer and Instructor at .kenya; Lilian Mukele, Head of Tourism Sector at the Kenya Revenue Authority; and Lens Okore , CTO at Furbsh Tech.
