Hikemania..Our 3rd Edition!!!
Mt. Longonot is a stratovolcano located Southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It's name is derived from the Maasai Word "Oloonong'ot"It meaning "Mountains of Many Spurs" or " Steep Ridges"
It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s.
Hike Distance, from the base is 3.1K trail runs from the park entrance reach the rim. And the Walk around the Crater rim is a 7.2Km.
The hike takes approximately 4-6 hours.
