Jorge Mario Bergoglio, SJ (born December 17, 1936) is the current pope of the Roman Catholic Church, elected on March 13, 2013, and taking the regnal name of Francis. Prior to his election, he served as an Argentine cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He has served as the Archbishop of Buenos Aires since 1998. He was elevated to the cardinalate in 2001.

Jorge Bergoglio was born in Buenos Aires, one of the five children of an Italian railway worker and his wife. After studying at the seminary in Villa Devoto, he entered the Society of Jesus on March 11, 1958. Bergoglio obtained a licentiate in philosophy from the Colegio Máximo San José in San Miguel, and then taught literature and psychology at the Colegio de la Inmaculada in Santa Fe, and the Colegio del Salvador in Buenos Aires. He was ordained to the priesthood on December 13, 1969, by Archbishop Ramón José Castellano.

He attended the Philosophical and Theological Faculty of San Miguel, a seminary in San Miguel. Bergoglio attained the position of novice master there and became professor of theology.
Impressed with his leadership skills, the Society of Jesus promoted Bergoglio and he served as provincial for Argentina from 1973 to 1979.

He was transferred in 1980 to become the rector of the seminary in San Miguel where had had studied. He served in that capacity until 1986. He completed his doctoral dissertation in Germany and returned to his homeland to serve as confessor and spiritual director in Córdoba.

The Silver Sebright Hen

The Sebright named after its developer, Sir John Saunders Sebright. As a largely ornamental chicken, they lay tiny, white eggs and are not kept for meat production.

The Extraordinary Pink Katydid

First discovered back in 1887, the pink katydid is so rare that they occur once out of every 500 individuals. The impressive colour of those Insects is result of a genetic mutation named erythrism refers to an unusual reddish pigmentation. Erythrism in katydids has been occasionally observed. The coloring might be a camouflage that helps some members of the species survive on red plants.

Metallic Tarantula (Poecilotheria metallica)

The species is found in a single location, which is severely fragmented. The extent of occurrence is less than 100 km2. India: Andhra Pradesh: Reserve forest between Nandyal and Giddalur. Though the spider was first found in a railway timber yard in Gooty, its true habitat is about 15 miles to the north. It reflects brilliant metallic blue color. This whole genus of arboreal tarantulas exhibits an intricate fractal-like pattern on the abdomen.

MY TESTIMONY

My name is James. I and my wife Sandra got married 14yrs ago and since then we had no child. As Christians, we still believed God for a baby at the due time. Finally, my wife got pregnant and everything was alright.

On the day of delivery, I was driving her to the hospital and suddenly our car collided with an on-coming car and we had a
fatal accident. My sister narrated it thus: ''We had a call from the police through the identification found on you that you and Sandra were in the hospital. When we came to the hospital, the Doctor asked us to sign some documents so that an operation could be performed on Sandra to bring the baby out. The baby came out alive but Sandra was declared dead while I was in comma with my two legs broken.

In the night, a man clothed in white appeared to me and touched my head. From that moment, I started sneezing. After 5mins, I sat up and became a little strong. Then I asked, 'where is my wife'?. Then, somebody the next door started sneezing too. That was Sandra. 'She's alive, she's alive', the nurses shouted. Sandra also narrated that the same man clothed in white who touched my head also touched her head.

Few days later we were discharged from the hospital. My broken legs have also been restored and I can walk perfectly too. Today, I, Sandra and our daughter named Miracle are all alive. What was supposed to be our happiest day turned out to be a sorrowful day but we thank God for today. Ladies and gentlemen, God exists and still performs miracles, even the miracle of bringing the dead to live.

Now I decree that:
1. Nothing will cut your joy short on the happiest
day of your life in Jesus name.
2. I command every dead thing in your life to come
back alive in Jesus name.
3. This year, may you receive a miracle that will attract the attention of the world in Jesus mighty

OUR TRIP TO WALVIS BAY - NAMIBIA WITH COLLINS

Namibia is a probably a good picture of much of Africa. In two respects it is a young country. First, the average age is the early 20s. One of the reasons for the low average age is that, the country achieved independence in only 1990 from South Africa. It was originally settled by Germany (hence the prevalence of German names for towns like Swapomund and Windhoek) then England then South Africa. It is the second least populated country in the world (after Mongolia). The entire population is about 2.5 million in the area of Texas and Oklahoma. It has some important natural resources - mostly diamonds and uranium. Whites make up about 6% of the population, but seem to be "in charge" of most of the important things in the country. The ship docked at Walvis Bay, a small town but the largest port in Namibia. There's not much to the economy in Walvis Bay except for fishing and shipping. Namibia became independent in 1990, but South Africa was especially fond of Walvis Bay because of its excellent port, so refused to give it over to Namibia until 1994. On the first day we went took a bus to Swakopmund where we visited a gem "museum" (a privately owned souvenir shop thinly disguised as a collection of rare gems). Anna wanted to buy a handful of copper flakes but the museum did not accept debit cards for small purchase. I had not changed money into Namibian dollars by that time. Those of you who know Anna will know why she enjoyed the museum and why she wanted to buy some copper. Recently, she might have asked you something like "would you rather have a copper mine or a stone quarry?" or "would you rather have a diamond mine or 5 Ferraris?" Dinner was served under a huge tent. During dinner, the sky opened to a steady drizzle that lasted for about an hour. We Americans did not realize we were witnessing a historic event.
