A couple of years ago, Ol Pejeta and Helping Rhinos approached Internationally renowned wildlife artist Karen Laurence-Rowe to paint a portrait of Sudan, a suitable memorial on canvas that would help to preserve his magnificent but tragic story. Her watercolour expertly captures the essence of Sudan, from the gentle vastness of his cherished frame to the terrible loneliness as the last male of his kind.

Prints of the painting are available to buy now on helpingrhinos.org for just £37.50 / $50.00. Proceeds from the sales will all go to support rhino conservation on Ol Pejeta.
