Among the Big cats, the lion is the most sought cat during game drives and the one the arouses much awe and admiration.

The lions live in a family unit called a pride made up of 15-25 members. In the family you can find up to 3 males and several females.

Females do most of the hunting with males helping to take down large animals.

Maasai Mara tops as one of the best locations to see the lions and other big cats.
