Snippets of our time in Accra 🇬🇭

Made it to the top of Mt. Satima over the weekend 🏔️ 3rd highest mountain in Kenya at 40001m. An incredibly scenic day hike, 6-7hrs (16km) 😍 Felt like we were in GoT as we hiked through the ‘dragons teeth’ rock formations. The Aberdares ecosystem is truly one of a kind! And seeing Mt. Kenya from the peak was the cherry on top 🍒

Twiga House - Fortamu 🦒
🌴 This duplex can comfortably fit 6 pax.
🌴 All bedrooms have fans, AC and are all en-suite.
🌴 The house is self catered but a cook and cleaner is provided, thank you Lydia!
🌴 This property has different swimming pools to choose from, but our favourite was the one riiiiight by the beach.
🌴 We loved how there was direct beach access 😍
🌴 Close to Papa Remo this batch of beach is relatively quieter.
🌴 Between 5 of us we paid around Ksh 25,000 for 4 nights!

This is Tigoni Waterfall Inn, less than 45 minutes away! For anyone craving a scenic drive, a beautiful waterfall and a pretty decent picnic site, we recommend here!

The Rekero experience 💎
One of the joys of staying here is the amount of wildlife you see and hear 😍
Sitting on the deck we witnessed a wildebeest crossing, had a leopard sneak into our camp right next to our tent 🐆fell asleep to hippos grunting 🦛 and lions roaring 🦁
