The sitatunga is a rare swamp-dwelling antelope. It is distinguished by its long, splayed hooves. These hooves make them clumsy and vulnerable on firm terrain but well-adapted for walking through muddy, vegetated swamplands. Their shaggy, oily coat is another adaptation to an aquatic habitat. The males' coats are grayish-brown, while the females' are a reddish-chocolate brown, with six to eight vertical white stripes on the body. Males are also considerably larger than females and have long, twisting horns
These creatures are found in one of Kenya's smallest national park,saiwa swamp.

Overview: Hell's Gate National Park lies south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, north west of Nairobi 100 kms from Nairobi city. Hell's Gate National Park is named after a narrow break in the cliffs, once a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed early humans in the Rift Valley. The park was established in February 1984. hells gate is among few parks in Kenya where you can tour with mountain bikes or walk .this park is known for famous movies Lion king, tomb raider 2,out of Africa. hells gate is home to maasai giraffes, spotted hyenas, jackals, bat eared fox, plain zebras, African cape buffaloes, elands, leopards and more. its also a home to over 100 species of birds including augur buzzards, Ruppel vultures, lanner falcons, goshawks, drongos, Abyssinian whetear,superb starlings. geothermal power projects which contribute over 30% of Kenya electricity are also located here.

6:30 am – Depart Nairobi and start of drive to Naivasha, brief stop over at the Great rift valley view point. Arrive at the gate of hells gate at around 8:30am. Start of the biking tour at hells gate for 4 hours
12:30pm – Finish the tours and bring the bikes back at the gate.
1pm – Drive to Naivasha lake Naivasha sanctuary farm for lunchbreak/Eat local food inside the park(own expenses)
3pm – Take a 1 hour boat ride in the lake for bird watching and hippo viewing.
4pm – End of all activities start of drive back to Nairobi drop off at your hotel.
