We used to have so many cormorants on Lake Naivasha but sadly many are killed because they compete for fish with the fishermen. We are privileged to have this fabulous breeding colony just off the shore of Ziwani Island, who have found refuge in our protected Korongo Bay. They are nesting in ghost Acacia trees; the last vestiges of the time, not so long ago, when Ziwani was not an island and we could drive there back in 2012 when we first bought the island
