In the depths of night, where shadows creep,
And doubts within the heart doth seep,
I walk with faith, my spirit bright,
For in my soul, there is a light.
"I carry God, so I fear naught,"
With whispered grace, this truth is wrought.
No darkness deep, no trials dire,
Can quench the flame of heavenly fire.
Shine your light, leave your worries,
In fields of stars, where courage hurries.
For in the embrace of divine grace,
Fear fades away, without a trace.
Through valleys low and mountains high,
In every tear, in every sigh,
I carry God, my guiding star,
Leading me on, both near and far.
So let the storms rage, let thunder roll,
Within my heart, there is a goal.
To shine, to rise, to boldly stand,
For in God's hand, I'll firmly land.
With every step, with every breath,
Fearless with God!
I carry God, in life and death.
In His embrace, I find my peace,
And all my fears and worries cease.
So shine your light, in darkest night,
For God is with us, shining bright.
In every trial, in every plight,
With Him beside us, we take flight.
