"Meet" the amboseli flamingos🦩. A group of flamingos is called flamboyance😁

Amboseli isn't always their main "home" unlike and , flamingos in amboseli are occasional visitors.

Flamingos prefer salty water since that's where their foods thrive. Some of the swamps in amboseli can be suitable but not always consistent. They often stand on one leg to conserve body heat and reduce muscle fatigue!

Flamingos tend to be surprisingly smart! They recognize their mates and chicks in a huge group. They also communicate using different calls and chicks even learn it's parents'voices.

Flamingos are very sensitive to disturbance, if constantly bothered they may abandon nesting sites completely.

It's not everyday that turns pink, but when it does it's unforgettable!
