Unfortunately the owner of the wreck decided other ways than agreed.
The sinking happened already on the 29.December 2014, without any invitation to us, far away from the Mombasa Marine Park, in the outback, politics.
The video of the sinking (Not available to us) has a total of 4 (four) likes (Amazing number).

But we at Peponi Divers Mombasa still provide excellent scuba diving with the wrecks MS Globe Star and MV Dania. See also Mombasa North Coast Wreck Tour

Message from the coordinator:
The latest news on the fish eagle is that she is still prepped and ready to go. However, the sinking procedure requires that the salvage master and the tugs pulling her out all be present and available in Mombasa at the same time. Up until now this has not been the case, hence the delay in sinking her. And adding to this complex equation is a new factor: weather. Now we are waiting for the salvage master to be present, the tugs to be present and the weather to be calm enough to realise the sinking.

I appreciate you all have been very patient and as soon as we know more, we will let you all know! Apologies for the delay….

Message from the coordinator:
Mpv Fish Eagle update: due to logistical constraints the sinking will not be possible on saturday morning. the salvage master and the tugs have been called off to another project. Once they are back the sinking can proceed. I will update as and when more info becomes available.

Exiting..... Looking forward to it.

Final preparations are in process. MPV Fish Eagle is ready for the sinking on 8th March 2014
