We are sad and sorry to announce that we had to decide to close Manyika House with immediate effect. We would like to thank our guests in these many years for your trust and loyalty. The management of the farm has decided to take another path.

Hello dear followers. How are you doing. While we still can't be reached, we received our first booking for august. Very grateful that we are still in your mind and heart
We are slowly preparing to come back. We are cleaning the house and cottage according the standards given. The compound and rooms are big enough to do social distancing and for the Corona time the main house and cottage will be rented out as a whole, so the whole compound is yours. Lets us know if you have question or you want to take an option on dates.

Hello dear friends and followers of Manyika house. We hope you and your family are all safe and healthy. We get regular requests at the moment to stay at Manyika, but unfortunately we are just outside of the Nairobi Metropol. When roadblocks and check points are gone you are most welcome. Imagine this is your perfect hide away from the crowds when this all ends. And just imagine the view on Mount Kenya at this moment from the terras.

How are you doing in these times. Stay safe and healthy dear ones.
Manyika house will have some changes over the few months, things that are planned for a long time. So for starters we are fixing the roof of the main house and the ceilings of the bedrooms. Also Manyika house goes green. Together with a permaculture specialist we are going to see how we can even make more use of our beautiful garden. Also all our cleaning products will slowly turn into organic.
Also the playground will have major changes as we are going to make it a nature playground with lots of things to experience for kids. We will keep you updated. Meanwhile if you have questions, we are happy to help you.

'Marianne her home, location and onsite cook are even better than we expected, and we had high expectations! The home is spectacular and the grounds are peaceful and pretty. There are lots of bathrooms and bedrooms which wonderfully accommodated our big group. We were there on a company retreat and the entire space for perfect. Also, special recognition to the phenomenal cook, Joel. He was out of this world!”

"The place is incredible in the middle of the coffee plantation, perfect getaway from Nairobi for the weekend. Joel the cook was great, very king and his food was so tasty especially the soups that were on point! John made a bonfire for us at night and was very helpful to arrange a return transport to Nairobi. He also showed us a route to take inside the plantation which was great! The house in general is amazing and perfect for groups, can’t wait to come back!”'
