…For years, I’ve warned my safari guests whenever I give them a Safari brief, about the famous Lake Nakuru baboons. I called them stubborn, shameless, and professional thieves.
Then I visited Hell’s Gate National Park…
Ladies and gentlemen, I owe the Nakuru baboons a public apology. 😂
Compared to their Hell’s Gate cousins, they’re actually very well behaved.
As a Kenyan tour guide, I’m always learning, and next on my research list is visiting our Ugandan cousins. Every destination has its own unique wildlife experience, but Kenya will always have my heart, from the Maasai Mara and Amboseli to Lake Nakuru and beyond.
