Vultures are scavenging birds of prey characterised by a bald head and a devoid normal feathers that keepsthem cleanwhen feeding, the bare skin helps them in regulating body temperature. They tuck their necks when it’s cold and when it’s hot they opens their wings and stretches their necks.
A group of vultures has three names.
Kettle - when in flight,
Wake - when feeding,
Committee - when resting.

The serval is a slender, medium-sized cat that weighs 9–18 kg approximately 20lbs It is characterised by a small head, large ears, a golden-yellow to buff coat spotted and striped with black, and a short, black-tipped tail. The serval has the longest legs of any cat relative to its body size.

Active in the day as well as at night, servals tend to be solitary with minimal social interaction. Both sexes establish highly overlapping homes and they mainly preys on birds, small rodents and lizards.

We were very lucky to have some moments with this lovely male in Amboseli National Park.

Sometimes Elephants wallow for fun but due to hot sun and UV radiation that can damage their skins there is a need for them to wallow because the wet mud cools them and also protects them from insect bites.
We couldn’t have enough of these guys as they entertained us for a couple of minutes before retrieving back to the bushes.

Giraffes are very vulnerable when they drop down their necks, that’s why they always rest with their bellies and legs folded like cows but the neck remains straight up.
When drinking they spread their fore limbs to allow the long neck bend down.
