Mama Mercy's Ndoto Village Bandas

Having created a beautiful home for her family & herself, Mama Mercy wanted to use her land in ways that can benefit the local community. Over time 8 bandas have been assembled with each being constructed from local materials & employing local tradesmen. Each banda has a traditional makuti roof which helps to keep the bandas nice and cool even in the hot Taita weather. In addition each bed has it'

s own mosquito net to keep those pesky insects away after a long day. Clean & safe drinking water is provided from taps that come off from a county government pipeline. All the bandas (apart from Ukunda & Shimba Hills) have in built western style toilets with toilet paper provided. A padlock & key is supplied with each banda for your peace of mind throughout your stay.
