In Memoriam

Samburu has long been a place where people come to experience Kenya’s wild beauty, vast landscapes and unforgettable sense of freedom.

It is therefore with deep sadness that we acknowledge the tragic helicopter accident near Mount Ololokwe on 19 August, which claimed the lives of seven people, including six visitors and their Kenyan pilot.

Our thoughts are with their families, friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

We also extend our deepest condolences to everyone in the Samburu community and to those who responded to the accident and supported the recovery efforts.

May those who lost their lives rest in peace. 🕊️
