Even though the tense situation along the Cambodia–Thailand border may seem relatively calm, Rethinking the emergency shelters system for Cambodian refugees remains crucial in this context because in times of crisis, whether war, natural disasters, or various forms of social unrest, shelter or refuge is the first and foremost line of consideration for refugees at any stage before the resolution of the crisis.

With careful consideration of the design and structure of temporary shelters during such challenging circumstances, we aim to create spaces that not only protect lives, but also restore hope, provide psychological encouragement, and strengthen communities during their most vulnerable moments.

Congratulations to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) on its official recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

This recognition is not only a milestone for Cambodia but also a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to preserve memory, foster peace, and educate future generations.
