(Phnom Penh): On May 17, 2025, Mr. Phon Sophea is a master's student in Integrated Management for Agricultural and Rural Development at the Graduate School of the Royal University of Agriculture under coordinated by the ECOLAND Center and the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). He is currently conducting research on the topic: "Pesticides and Human Health". He and his supervisor have interviewed with famers and professional pesticide applicators in Thma Koul District, Battambang Province . The discussion focused on perspectives regarding pesticide management and the impact of pesticide use on human health.

សិក្ខាសាលានេះមានអ្នកចូលរួមមកពីបណ្តាប្រទេសនានារួមមាន កម្ពុជា ឡាវ អ៊ុយក្រែន គៀហ្ស៊ីគីស្ថាន និងអ៊ូហ្កាន់ដា ដើម្បីបង្កើនជាសាកលលើការផ្លាស់ប្តូរគំនិត និងការអនុវត្តល្អបំផុតក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងធុរៈកិច្ចកសិកម្ម។ អ្នកចូលរួមបានពិភាក្សា និងចូលរួមសកម្មភាពផ្សេងៗ ដើម្បីបង្កើនជំនាញ និងចំណេះដឹងក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងធុរៈកិច្ចកសិកម្ម ដោយផ្តោតលើអាជីវកម្មប្រកបដោយចីរភាព និងការអភិវឌ្ឍសេដ្ឋកិច្ច។ 🌏🤝

Germany | June 1-7, 2025
Ms. MEAS Dany, Projects Coordinator at the Ecosystem Services and Land Use Research Center (ECOLAND) of the Graduate School (GS) at the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), attended a workshop on Business Management in the Agrarian Economy at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, Germany. This event was made possible through funding from the Erasmus+ project.

The workshop brought together participants from diverse countries, including Cambodia, Laos, Ukraine, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Uganda, fostering an international exchange of ideas and best practices in agrarian business management. Participants engaged in discussions and activities aimed at enhancing their skills and knowledge in managing agricultural enterprises, with a focus on sustainable practices and economic development. 🌏🤝

Mr. Hou Sorith, Projects Manager at the Ecosystem Services and Land Use Research Center (ECOLAND), Graduate School, Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), participated in the international workshop titled: “Agroecological Crop Protection: Towards International Co-Innovation Dynamics and Evidence of Sustainability (ACROPICS)”.

This workshop aimed to promote sustainable agricultural practices by reducing the reliance on harmful crop protection inputs through:
1. Strengthening local Agroecological Crop Protection (ACP) initiatives.
2. Connecting these initiatives with global research and innovation teams across 12 countries.
3. Producing scientific evidence on the sustainability of ACP systems.
4. Supporting and showcasing local initiatives through international research activities.
5. Building a strong network of teams and future experts in ACP.

(Phnom Penh): On May 06, 2025, the Ecosystem Services and Land Use Research Center (ECOLAND) of the Graduate School, Royal University of Agriculture organized a training course on "Economic Statistics Data Analysis" for ECOLAND and Graduate School staffs and volunteers.
The session aimed to strengthen participants' data analysis skills and encourage knowledge sharing. The training was conducted by Mr. Titouan FILLOUX, a PhD student from L'Institut Agro, France.
