Two friends. Two days in the jungle.
No big group. Just us.

We walked deep into the forest. No clear path. Just following the trail step by step.

Waterfall in the middle of nowhere. No crowd. No noise.

At night, we slept in tents. No city lights. Just the sound of the jungle around us.

This is not an easy trip.

But that is the point.

I keep my groups small for this kind of experience.
So it stays personal, safe, and real.

Morning started simple. Kampot noodles at a small local place. No menu in English. Just sit, eat, and watch the street.

Then we left the main road.

A quiet pagoda hidden inside a cave. Cool air, low light, silence as you step inside.

Later, we stopped where locals come to relax. Picnic huts by the water. No tourists. Just families, food, time passing slowly.

This is a full day in Kampot.

Not one highlight. Many small moments that come together.

He asked if he could try it.
The family said yes. Handed him the shuttle. Showed him how to move his feet and his hands at the same time.
Three generations of silk weavers in this village. He is probably the first foreign guest they have ever taught.

This is Koh Dach, the silk island in the Mekong less than one hour from Phnom Penh. Most tourists stop at the shop to buy a scarf. Very few cross the ferry and actually sit at the loom.
